How To Use Profound Acceptance
Over the years, I’ve learned with acceptance how to stay in the driver’s seat of inner work; driving your unique mindset from a resilience perspective by incorporating profound acceptance. To accept means that you acknowledge the part of yourself that’s screaming “NO” to the current situation (Nancy Colier, 2019). Once you use profound acceptance; change is easier to accept. When you combine profound acceptance with The Law of Attraction you increase your positive energy and discover a profound shift in how you approach life’s challenges. This is how you create improvements and opportunities in your personal growth, leadership, and daily life.
According to Nancy Colier, Psychology Today, Accepting a Reality That Feels Unacceptable, acceptance is about acknowledging that this particular situation is indeed happening. It’s not saying that you like it, agree with it, or will stop trying to change it, it simply means that you’re accepting that it’s actually what’s so. The primary element of acceptance is opening to reality as it is, not how you feel about it, just that it actually is this way.
When we use profound acceptance, we’re just saying one thing: yes, this is happening. That’s it!
When we can say *I accept that this is the way it is, even if I hate it and don’t know what to do about it, *then we can at least be in the truth, which ultimately, is the most empowering, brave, and self-loving place from which to create our life. This kind of complete acceptance brings a sense of peace and helps us navigate difficult emotions with greater clarity.
Use Profound Acceptance With The Law Of Attraction To Increase Your Positive Energy!
Change, creating improvements and opportunities in your life and leadership, is easier to accept once you use profound acceptance. A break in your foundation, a road closure on your path, or a broken ladder to your success; these are drivers of necessary change. A thinking partner empowers you to see these drivers of change as a mind-shift for new potential and growth. Improvement and opportunity for a better way start with a mind-shift; thoughts, feelings, perspectives, and desires motivating you to take action.
When you combine profound acceptance with The Law of Attraction you increase your positive energy and cultivate present-moment awareness.
When you believe in the Law of Attraction, here’s what can happen. What you think about, focus on, and feel strongly about, you will create more of in your everyday life. It’s all about energy, positive energy attracts positive energy. The same holds true for negative energy.
The power of the Law of Attraction is life changing! This powerful tool allows you to move beyond emotional pain, unnecessary suffering, and unnecessary judgments so you can create a more fulfilling life in the long run.
I gave a speech on the topic of Managing Gifts from Hijacking Moments; I called on all the resources from the Law of Attraction. Visualizations, affirmations, calls for support from others, daily mindset practices, and the belief that I could achieve my goals all helped me manage difficult experiences. The power of the Law of Attraction is powerful when you believe in it and use it to your advantage. Ask or have a desire, believe it is possible, and be ready and willing to accept or receive the gift.
Focus On What You Want!
It’s a focus on what you want, not what you don’t want. Accept that it takes effort and action to achieve your goals, desires, and dreams. Clarity is key ~ use visualization to get clear on what you want. Affirmations are another great way to inspire positive self-talk. When you talk to others, it lets them know you are serious about your goal; it inspires others and encourages them to motivate you and support your goal.
Raise your energy level to match what you are trying to attract. Do at least one thing every day that raises your energy; for me, it is power walking 3 to 6 miles or more a day. Meditation is a daily practice, a form of mindfulness meditation, and another way to raise your energy or spiritual vibration. For example, I meditate on HEART, what is your HEART for the people I serve, what is your HEART for my business, what is your HEART for me.
Focus on forgiving others, this one is tough but it is necessary. One time a person emailed me and told me what an awful person I was. As much as it hurt to think that someone would say those horrible things about me, I immediately forgave that person. Yes, it was tough; however, I felt relieved, and they didn’t know what to do. Never contacted me again. That’s when I realized forgiveness is one of the key steps toward emotional resilience and a crucial role in true acceptance.
Focus on gratitude, what are you truly grateful for? Keep a gratitude journal. Keep your journal in your purse, at your desk, in your car, or beside your bed. For me, I am grateful for a second chance at life. Every day is a blessing, I have a new outlook on life; life is good. In fact, I have a pink hat with the saying “Life Is Good” that I wear on all my power walks.
In a nutshell, use visualizations, affirmations, call on support from others, spend time with your own heart, and embrace daily mindfulness practices. Believe and act as if you are capable of achieving your goals, desires, and dreams. This constructive approach helps you move through painful realities, moments of pain, and emotional reactivity while fostering genuine connection, meaningful connection, and deep connection with others. This is how you create improvements and opportunities in your life and leadership with greater ease.
Conclusion
Once you learn to use profound acceptance, change is easier to accept. What you think about, focus on, and feel strongly about will create more energy in your life. The power of the Law of Attraction is powerful when you believe in it and use it to your advantage. With practice of radical acceptance, you discover the rewards of radical acceptance: inner peace, deep acceptance, and the deepest acceptance of both normal emotions and difficult experiences.
Influential thinkers like Jeff Foster, Tara Brach, Carl Rogers, and psychologist Marsha Linehan have all shared insights about the concept of radical acceptance. They highlight that the first step often begins with a deep breath, an open mind, and the willingness to let go of lack of acceptance. By acknowledging external factors, past experiences, and the bad stuff you cannot control, you can learn various ways to find eternal perspectives.
Radical acceptance reminds us that life is worth living, even when painful realities and chronic pain arise. This easy practice is not about ignoring initial pain or fearful person tendencies, it’s about using the logical mind to create a place of acceptance. By embracing the power of radical acceptance, you’ll find greater clarity, reduce unnecessary suffering, and build emotional resilience.

I work with courageous leaders new to leadership or moving up in their leadership who are successful but at times get hijacked by difficult situations that turn into agonizing moments, causing failed results and increased frustration. How do I know this? I was one of those leaders.
Courageous leaders who are intentional about managing hijacking moments, those moments that happen instantly and unexpectedly, derailing you from what you were on track to accomplish, are resilient.
